Take your Social Security
Card with you when you go to get your new drivers license.
Only an eye exam is required with an out of state valid
drivers license. A new license costs $20 and is valid for 6
years, renewal is $15 and replacement of a lost license is
$10.

within 30 days of establishing legal residency, by the day
you begin work in Florida or by the time you register your
child in school. Bring proof of ownership and insurance,

Present the following when
registering: Two documents showing proof of residence
(electric bill, phone bill, voter registration card). A
Certificate of Immunization (HRS Form 680), which is
available from a private physician or the local Public
Health Department. Make sure your child gets a TB test.
Proof of a medical examination during the past 12 months.
Kindergarten and 1st grade students must also present a
birth certificate to show proof of age. Lastly, the child's
