
The Chair's Division
This division operates under
the direction of the Chair to focus on areas
that affect the entire membership and the
long-range future of the Chamber. Task
forces may be formed at the discretion of
the Chair as needed.
A) Good Morning Coral Gables
Sarah Nesbitt Artecona, University of Miami and Coral Gables Chamber of
Commerce Chair
Monthly general membership breakfast
featuring outstanding community leaders held
the third Thursday of each month at The
Biltmore Hotel. Each table is hosted by a
Chairman’s Ambassador who facilitates
introductions and promotes an exchange of
business opportunities.
B) Travel & Tourism
Committee (VISION Coral Gables)
Mike Wurster, The Westin Colonnade
Works
with the City, Beacon Council, Meeting
Planners Association, Village of Merrick
Park, Business Improvement District and
Greater Miami Convention & Visitor’s Bureau
to showcase Coral Gables.
Goals
for 2009-2010:
•Invite South Florida Concierge Association
members to events.
•Invite restaurants to participate in
events.
•Strengthen ties with the Greater Miami
Convention & Visitors Bureau.
•Approach local associations that host
yearly events and collaborate with them.
•Send Chamber e-blast to other regional
Chambers.
•Strengthen ties with Sister Cities.
•Add more resources on the Chamber’s
Website
•Host a Super Bowl Event
